Pre/Post Conference Options
Our daily guided tours are great for exploring the region pre-conference or a great way to unwind post-conference. There are a variety of tours offered through the week from Halifax with pick-ups available from all downtown Halifax hotels. Click here for more information.
Large Group Wine Tours (8-50 people)
If you are looking for a tour option for your next corporate outing, conference attendees or a spousal activity, we can customize a tour to suit the time-frame, group size and budget. Take a look at some past tours we have organized for groups:
Halifax Walking Beer, Wine and Food Tour (3 hours)
- Visit the Alexander Keith’s Brewery for their fun-filled 1 hour tour of the brewery complete with actors portraying characters from 1863 and live music. Two generous beer samples are offered.
- Visit local restaurant, Murphy’s on the Water to taste two very different Nova Scotia wines paired with Murphy’s signature seafood chowder while learning about the thriving wine industry.
Afternoon in Wine Country (5 hours)
- Visit 2 award-winning wineries in the beautiful countryside of the Annapolis Valley for private tours and wine tastings
- Visit Fox Hill Cheese House for a tasting of artisanal cheddar, gouda and havarti cheeses
The Grand Experience (5 hours)
- Visit Nova Scotia’s oldest and most established winery, Domaine de Grand Pre for a tour of the vineyard followed by a wine tasting paired with hors d’oeuvres in the wine shop
- Enjoy a three-course dinner with wine at their on-site restaurant Le Caveau, named a Top 20 winery restaurant in the world
